How your commission works

Hi everyone can anyone please give me an idea on how your commission is worked out?
I know all salons are different in how they work it out so was hoping for a few different ways so I can figure out the best way for me.

Hi, when I was in a salon my commissions was my overall takings minus my basic wages . I would get a percentage of what was leftover

We ha a budget just for example
3000 a week
$50 over = $5
$100 over =$10
$200 = $20
$400 = 40
Up to $4200 then we got 20% I think it was
I used to earn another 300 pounds a fortnight onto of my pay it worke well

Oh an all levels has different budgets
0-3 months - $40
3-6months $200
6-1yr $400
1st year $800
2nd year $1500
3rd 2100
And then qualified

60/40. I get 60. Boss gets 40.
