Hi there guys, I am looking for some brand name moisturisers that contain either humectants, occlusives or even both.
I've been looking on the internet for ages but can't seem to find any straight forward web pages to help!
I am studying beauty therapy at college part time and this is for some research, we were told to use google etc, but I just can't find anything of help so if you know any particular moisturisers that contain the above, please let me know!
Many thanks!

If you're talking about the FACE, my use of a humectant (which attracts and binds water) and an occlusive (which keeps the water/moisture in) are two separate products for me for daytime. I'm pretty sure the my night creme is a combo of both a humectant and an occlusive. The brand names I can give are KLAPP, SeneGence and Lucrece. For over-the-counter products, Lancome (or L'Oreal, I can't remember) makes something called, "Aqua Fusion" but I recall it feeling somewhat greasy to me so that may be a combo product.

For the body, there are lots of common moisturizers that are both a humectant and a occlusive products because we don't have to worry so much about it being comedogenic since many occlusive products contain oils, petrolatum, waxes, etc. Common combo products for the body are cremes and lotions made by big names such as Nexcare, Eucerin, Cetephil, Neutrogena, Olay, Curel.

I'm sure you'll get some great professional recommendations from the membership here at SG. Hugs, kelly

PS I just Googled he topics and found tons of info on your reserach topic

If it's for the body, Footlogix is amazing. It is designed as a footcare line, but is great for the rest of the body as well.
