Hi all,

I write for a beauty trade magazine, and we want to do a feature on brushes. Unfortunately, this is not my strong suit.

Can I get recommendation of favorite brands/models?

Depends on what you want the brush to do.....I like my S-Factor Surreal round brush for getting long, thick curls straight or just to dry long thick hair fast, Marylin black for teasing/backcombing & propping up, Denman head hugger for awesome blow-outs with bounce & volume! Denman boar hair bristle for general long hair brushing care & smoothing over back-combed hair for up do's & a good common plastic vent brush for knot/tangle removal!
