Hi

Im new to this site and have found everyones tips and advice so helpful with decisions ive had to make recently.

I have just booked myself onto training with sienna x spray tan and flirties lashes and am looking into biosculpture course in a couple of months. I am having a complete career change to learn and do something I have always loved. I want to be in control of the hours i work and want to get myself to a standard where people recommend me for my work.

Its not going to be easy i know that and im not doing it for money i just want to be happy!

If anyone has any advice for me i will be truely grateful.

you used the same two companys i have!

sienna training is fabulous, i would 100% recomend. we had a right mix of ladies! from a spa owner in a 5 star hotel to a lady who just wanted to make some extra money for her wedding and the staff are always so helpful and really well just really lovely! i did the training on monday and the certificate came through yesterday!

my lash training i did with flirties too and to be honest i didn't rate the training that much and felt pretty lost at the end of it when it came to what lashes go where etc etc. aswell as a few other things, though the trainer i had said she was including a section about that at the end of the training which i think would be a great addition. the theory was just reading through the training manual (comes with your kit in the folder - how great is it having the folder already there so you have everything together from the start!) so def have a read of it before your training date so you will know what will be said in the theory i wrote a post not so long ago where one of the flirties trainers said that the training is just to get the basics and recomended going on a more advanced course with another company (so that's something you might want to bare in mind for the future when planning your finances as as you'll already know the private courses aren't cheap). but with alot of reading (especially on here), asking questions and watching youtube videos i feel confident that i can apply lashes (that doesn't mean i can do a fab full set haha!) it's so fiddly but really relaxing i think, i've done a couple of sets and always want to fall asleep doing them haha. flirties marketing is free as of course that's a big expense you wont have to budjet for in reguards to lashes and apparently they are changing the flirties marketing designs too.

are you planning on doing anything else or just lashes, tanning and biosculpture? (what's that?)

i always get such a nervous feeling waiting for the courses to come around enjoy your courses!

Thanks for the advice. Im really nervous about learning the lashes but really excited too.

Im really impressed with the customer service at Sienna X as well. I was indecissive about whether to go with Sienna X or Fake Bake but ive not had great customer service from Fake bake which has totally put me off. Sienna X could not do more for you and everyone ive spoken too are so helpful and friendly. Fake bake Head office one word RUDE!

Biosculpture is a non chip gel nail varnish which doesnt damage the nail. I cant get on this course until a few weeks time. A friend of mine has recommended this too me as she does it but is having a baby and so wants to get me up to her standard so I can do her clients until shes back to work. If anyone can recommend another product other than biosculpture i would be interested!

I trained with Nouvatan , product and training was fab glad i chose them, I have my home salon where i do my tanning or i do mobile.
Just ordered my new beauty couch,as doing Glam Lash extentions course this sunday so excited!
Im loving learning new things! got 2 kids so wanted to be able 2 work around them also but do something for me xx
