Hi guys,

We use infra red heat lamps at college before a massage to heat muscles, and I've just ordered one and want to use it on my clients when I qualify.

Should I charge extra for this as an add-on service? I believe infra-red is very benificial for people with sore muscles :)

If your offering an extra bit to an ordinary massage, then yes you should charge but make it that you only do massages with infrared? As you believe it to be more beneficial then your run of the mill massage...

Personally I wouldn't. I use a tens machine and an electric massager at times depending on the client and it's still all the same price. Physios or chiros don't charge any extra so why should we?
