When you're sat at your nail table in eager anticipation of a nice little play with your pots of glitz and glam <nfu-oh/ezflow etc>, where do you get your inspiration from? Does it just come to you, do you peruse the galleries/nail mags or something else?

Do you try a design/combination out on tips first or do you just go for the jugular and make it up as you go along on your own/a willing model's nails?:)

Vouge mag all the way.

I cant ever find ideas at my desk I think the sanitizer kills them as well as the bug's,! I just made sure when ever I think of something I write it somewhere, theres never a pen around my house lol so I write a text and save it lol
I think a lot of ideas are like dreams if you don't write it they go away!

lol I went to bed the other night wondering what red, green and silver glitters mixed together would look like for Christmas...so first thing the next morning I got up and mixed those glitters right up! (very pretty btw!) Usually though I browse the fabulous interwebs for ideas and my clients do the same, so sometimes they will bring a picture and say "how about THIS!?"

That's what happens when you aren't really a crafty/arty type person lol...

My ideas come from all sorts of weird and wonderful places - I got the inspiration for one design from the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai (the one shaped like a sail), and another from a stained glass window in someone's front door. A couple of weeks ago I caught sight of some of those little shiny flags you get on the forecourt of a car sales place and am still pondering over a good way to use them to inspire a nail design...
