hi all, I'm hoping for some advice if anyone can help?! I've got ocean storm and muted mauve to make grey but I can't remember the formula... Any advice would be great thanks everyone x

I've used both those colours on my hair - I did 30g muted mauve and 10g ocean storm. I wanted it more on the lavender side of grey but one wash later and I was left with a silver grey tone. Instamatic are Matt colours though so I personally prefer a bit more shine.

I have also tried 8/81 colourtouch with /68 - 40g 8/81 and 3g/68. Next time I'll add more of the /68. I'm yet to wash to see!

I did 8/81 30g with 5g 0/68 it was gorgeous. I also looooooove 8/81 and 0/68 in a 2:1 ratio its dark but amazing and smokey on a base 8.

OP i seen a post on instagram a year or so ago when instatmatic first came out and it was equal parts ocean storm and muted mauve and it was a really dark steely grey it was lovely.
