Irresistible Foils with Shellac

I've been struggling with my foils. I have tried on colour coat of Shellac on the inhibition layer but no joy, i then tried it with nail foil glue on the inhibition layer but still no joy! Its tricky but I really want to master it as they videos on You Tube make it look super easy. I am looking for full cover.
What am I doing wrong?
I am going to try it on a darker Shellac colour and see if that works.
I got my nail foils from Foils 4 Nails. Foils4Nails | Nail Art Foils, Nail Wraps, Adhesives, Sealers and more! has anyone had any problems with these foils?
