Hi guys

I have been reading a lot about minx on here for a while now and am considering purchasing the kit for my salon.

However my clients are very enquisitive and will definitely ask what
the impact is, on the health of the natural nail ??

Are there any long term effect after prolonged use??

and I want to have the correct answers.

Thanks

Its just a sticky coating... as long as its applied and removed properly there will be no damage...it just sits there on top of the nail, nothing penetrates the nail.

I recently pulled Minx off my big toe nail without heating it up and it was hard to remove and did leave marks on my nail....Thats nothing to do with the Minx...it was my fault....So i do believe that it should be removed using heat the same way it is applied.

Yes as bagpuss said the only probs I have found with minx Is if it hasn't been removed properly by me, clients will tend to pull it off themselves and that leads to problems. 1 client had pulled all hers off insead of coming back for safe removal then complained to me that it had caused her nails to peel and left ridges. Well yes im afraid as its very sticky and if the prep is meticulous then that will happen, it needs to be reheated to remove it safely and with no damage to the natural nail.
I also Advise the client that safe removal is included in the price, then its down to them if they return or not.
