Lash lift and ELT - ELT didnt take?

Hi i did a lash lift yesterday using salon system and then performed a lsh tint using refectocil blue/black tint and the tint just didn't hardly take, any suggestions???

It's happened to me and I still don't know why!

I chucked my developer and bought fresh. Some brands have a shorter shelf life than others once opened so check. I don't know whether there are factors that make developer go off faster? Anyone?

I also bought several different brands of tint, some are definitely better than others. For the client that the tint didn't take - I did a retint free a week or so later with a different brand and it was heaps better. I just said to the client that we'd use that brand in future and she was happy with that.

Did you use the lash perm nourishing lotion before the tint? If so that can create a barrier to the tint.
