Clients with heavy cuticle need gentle scraping to release and remove the debris. On some, it it’s almost invisible and on others it is quite built up. It has to be completely removed to ensure adhesion.
These pictures are of a client with the worst ever overgrowth.
I do a dry prep. Loosening the cuticle and clipping away the debris. I almost never clip living skin. Not the way to treat this. View attachment 211200View attachment 211201View attachment 211203View attachment 211202
My lady is in the invisible category. To the eye you can't see anything. You only see any debris when you start to scrape. Cuticles barely there too. Just a bit of dry cuticle skin on the side of one nail.
