Hi I'm a hair geek looking for advice.
I'm currently using Estée Lauder matte primer and Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation but not finding it to be as long lasting as it is on other people. It lasts me about 4 hours then I'm back to looking like the grim reaper! Just wondering if anybody had any seriously long lasting foundations with good coverage? Thanks in advance! 😘

Hi I really like the benefit okay stick foundation. Stays on me all day and it's great coverage :)

Aw thanks I'll look into that. X

I think it depends a lot on your skin type. I'm naturally quite oily but like to have the 'duey' look. I hate matte finish. So because of this I end up looking like I've rubbed my face with oil after 4 hours lol I do use ben nye banana powder under my eyes, my nose, head and chin to set my foundation which helps slightly. The benefit porefessional is good, but the best thing I've found to help keep my make up stay put is urban decay 'all nighter' setting spray. I've noticed a big difference since using this xx

I use Estée Lauder double wear, it last all day, but if I use a primer first it seems to slide off my face.

Moisturiser is enough for me, then straight to foundation. Do you use a powder to set it?
I have normal/dry combination skin.

Try Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup. I currently use the pressed base and I occasionally touch up my foundation but not always. Just depends if I end up touching my face a lot one day.

I've also used the Liquid Minerals before, then apply blusher, then put a little bit of pressed base on top. This is a very natural look but last very well.

I have combination/oily skin and I work in a bar it can get very hot especially with the steam from the glass cleaner.

I couldnt get my foundation to last my shift (8 hours) without sliding or caking but after some research I decided id try a cheap primer before going straight for the expensive brands.

I bought rimmel fix & perfect primer because it had alot of good reveiws, it really works great. I also use model in a bottle setting spray for sensitive skin which I ordered from america using ebay it cost about £16 but its well worth a try xx
(I also use a loose powder to set my foundation)
