Thanks to a boom in social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, the way salons and spas communicate with their customers has dramatically changed. However, according to a new company called Sleeping Lion, many aren’t fully exploiting the available channels.

With this in mind Sleeping Lion, which was founded by marketing expert Sarah Taylor, who has worked with the likes of Six Senses and Reebok Sports Club, has set up two new workshops with the aim to get beauty professionals skilled in maximising their online presence.

They include a one-day workshop named ‘Building A Successful Online Media Strategy’ and ‘Social Media Marketing in Six Weeks’, a one hour per day six week online course which is run in association with Tiger Two, specialists in online reputation management.

Both courses are priced at £750 + VAT
