Lush henna- can I highlight over it ?

I have a new client that used lush henna (chesnut colour) about 4 weeks ago. She left this on for 4 hours but now decided she wants to be a more natural brown with honey highlights! Can I colour over this ? I have some test pieces in foil as I write to check! I'm not sure about the metallic salts in lush ! Would you do the colour if the test pieces are ok ?? Thanks geeks x

Apparently Lush Henna is 100% natural, I asked an employee. Would still do incompatibility test and so forth...even then I'd be cautious about touching it.
