make-up training

Hi everyone

I am doing my beauty theropy level 2 at collage at the minute and i am very intrested in doing make-up where can i start off? I am doin basic make-up in the course anyway and i will have finished my level 2 (wax,facials ect) in september.
I am going to do my level 3 in beauty theropy even tho i dont wont to work in a salon, just so i have something to fall back on. As i am very intrested in being a mek-up artest!

What is the best route to go if i want to do make-up?

Have a look for short courses in make-up around your area. I did a 2 day course which was excellent, there was 2 weeks practice between the 2 days where we had to work on models and build up a portfolio. Its all about getting as much experience and practice as possible. Now is the perfect time to start as its coming up to bridal and prom season! I work in a salon at the moment, and all i get is make-up! Mostly kids and teenagers, they love it
