Hi

Wondering if anyone out there may be able to advise. I am going to be taking on Salon Manager to help with the day to day running of the salon. My main concern is how much to pay them - hourly rate and do they get receive commission.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sedgecl, I would have thought that the hourly rate depends on what you can realistically budget for. It also will vary depending on where you're located. You could offer a commission when sales targets are reached. Make sure you get your head round the figures, so you can monitor that the Salon Manager is helping to increase your overall profit.
