I set up my home salon about 3 months ago and have been really busy with facials but i'm having a lot of clients asking about anti ageing and electrical facials. We learnt micro-current at college as an anti ageing facial, i was just wondering if it is actually an effective treatment?

Thanks!

Im home based and was the same asu since investing in a machine ive been busier and its great as ppl have a course ... There is loads of diffrent machines dont take the desicion lightly do your research and pick the best 4 u thats what i did......
Good luck x

Thanks for your reply, im looking at the skinmate microlift machine at the moment, im also unsure though how much to charge for a single treatment and how much for a course of treatments?

Im not sure if Skinmate do training maybe someone else may know?.... When i brought my machine my trainer went thru everything from how much to charge contraindications everything ..... My advice would b to have amachine that can do other things too as apposed to just microcurrent that way if you have galvanic or something added you can offer more treatments xx also check the area you are located to make sure the person 5 mins down the rd doest have the same machine xx

Thanks for your reply, i will look into that! :)

Spend as much money as you can afford. Many manufacturers/suppliers offer excellent rental and payment plans/options.

CACI and Belle Sante are both very good machines. They both give very good results that the client can see and are well known. Some of the more obscure brands aren't known by the the public and it may be harder to market the treatments.HTH

Just to update everyone, belle sante machines have now been improved and rebranded into Bio-Therapeutic I think I read somewhere. Microcurrent Manufacturers

the people behind caci and bio therapeutic were once partners in creating the first microcurrent machine, so i'd say they are both in the top, I use bio therapeutic and find it to be really good. for prices check other places in the area for comparison because price also depends on your area.
