I'm curious about this... is there a minimum age for a nail tech?
I understood you couldn't get public liability insurance until you were 16, and as we require the under-16 clients to bring in a parental permission form, I was wondering if anyone worked before this age?
I remember in my first nail class that there was a tall quiet girl who always sat in the back and never spoke to anyone. Turns out she was 14, and she let it slip out at the end of the term that was her real age. The instructor said she could complete her course and write the exam, but she would never get insurance until she was 16 and wouldn't be able to work.
So is it a rule, or is there flexibility on this?
