Hi,
Everyone, just woundered if anyone has any ideas about how to stay safe when going into strangers homes for mobile spray tans.Don't know if I'm just being paranoid-but it just occured to me today that we do put ourselves in a vulnerable situation when going into a new clients home!?
I do drop round an exfoliator sachet and after care sheet the day before a booking-which gives me some idea of the person I will be dealing with, but woundered if anyone else here has any other ideas.Would appreciate any suggestions. X:confused:

Hi, i keep all my appoinments in my diary but also have a copy of the diary that i leave at home so in case of an emergency my other half can find me/ where i am. Also, i like to speak to customers over the phone or face to face before an appoinment so if someone has booked via text message i will ring to confirm the details at a convenient time. I also make sure i have my mobile with me (although i keep it on silent when i'm with a client.)

Use your instinct ~ if they sound odd then don't do it.

If there male never go alone ~ take a friend/partner even if they just sit outside in the car

If you can't do above text someone the second your going in and the address etc. Tell them you will text them back at xxx time. Don't put this on any text incase any one else sees it, discuss it face to face with friends or partners.... Use a code word for distress and one safety. For example one kiss at the end 'i'm ok' and 2 kisses 'oh bugger help'!

On the day act professional, look professional and don't be nervous.
If at any time you feel shakey ~ WALK OUT leave your equipment there. Get your b/f to go back later for your stuff.

Thats about all you can do!

The risk though is really tiny. But still of course we all need to be aware that the risk is there regardless.

Keep a secret tube of deep heat and if they get frisky ask them to apply your magical barrier cream! Or stick it on your fingers and then in their eyes! Should give you enough time to get your kit and get out lol! Just kidding!

I always have a bit on my T&Cs that lewd behaviour or inappropriate behaviour will always be reported to the police. That should hopefully put them off.

Hi,
Great, some good suggestions-love the deep heat idea LOL XX
