Hi all,

I am doing a spray tanning course this Wednesday and after that will be soon hoping to do it mobile, this may be a silly question but I was just wondering if you other mobile tanners out there clean your tent before packing it away if you have done it at someones home?

Thanks! :) x

I always clean my tent and equipment at home, if someone came to my house and cleaned their stuff after in my home, I wouldn't be happy personally :)

Hi Hun,
Never time to clean a tent in someone's house, just a quick wipe with kitchen roll, fold up and go.
I get hubby to power wash mine every few weeks, all depending on how many tans I have done.
Sometimes just pop it up in the kitchen and give it a quick wipe down with soapy cloth and leave to dry for an hour.
Best tip is tan and go, client doesn't want you hanging around, and you will probably be off to next client anyway.
Good luck with your training.
Lotsa luv x  x

Yeah I was thinking it would be a bit awkward cleaning it in someones house lol, but yeah a quick wipe down with kitchen roll makes sense as not to get wet tan all over the place when folding tent back up.
Thanks for your replies!! :wink2: x

Hopefully when you are tanning you will have your machine well tuned and your routine perfected in order to reduce overspray as much as possible so therefore there won't be 'wet tan all over the place'.
At the end of each tan I wipe over with baby wipes then fold up and go!
Then, like poshfloss has said, every few weeks give it a wash with warm soapy water and leave to dry.

A good item to use is stickey feet so that clients do not get any unwanted overspray on their feet.

I hope your tanning course and new spray tanning venture go really well....good luck xx

Hello, now I have done my training I see that my tent doesn't get very messy, I practiced on 7 friends last night and gave my tent a wipe down with water and a towel after and there wasn't too much there and never was my tent too wet so all good! :)

Brilliant news!
You'll absolutely love spray tanning, its such a great treatment to offer!
xx
