Hi Beauty Gal,
I am mobile, as far as I am aware that is not a requirement..However, I am a fully qualifed and insured therapist and registersed as self -employed. I think that these things are certainly necessary as you MUST be qualified to perform the treatment, insured for all eventuallities (even as simple as a wee spill on your clients carpet right through to any other claims) Babtac and the Guild both excellent, and if you don't register as s/e you might be in trouble with the inland revenue..I don't have the contact details off top of my head but if you google self employment it will get you to the right bit!! Hope that is a help to you x

Some areas require you to have a licence to perform certain treatments. This varies across the country, so I would contact your local council and find out what their requirements are.
