money nails?

Can someone please tell me if and how they photo copied money to do the money nails. I have tried photo coping money and it looks great....but when I put the liquid on it it loses color instantly. I know I have read that people photo copy money....why didn't it work for me?

i have not tried,but maybe you could seal the notes or photocopies first with ?? mmm maybe foil adhesive 1st or some other water based glue? worth a try

I may be completely wrong but could you scan the not or take a picture put on to pc and print onto decal papper this way you could use like a transfer and colour would not fade???
