My first nail competition

i am thinking of entering my first ever nail competition but don't know what to enter! top tech tip and overlay or newcomer.
half of me wants to dive straight in for the top tech comp but the other half of me is scared to death of being humiliated and thinks i should go for newcomer where i'll be in the same boat as everyone else.

I trained with creative and have been doing nails for nearly 5 years. I think my nails are of a good standard but at times lack a bit of confidence.

any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Hi ive just done my 1st comp at beauty uk and entered top tech newcomer, i would definately recommend newcomer if you've never done a comp its a great start and i found i wasn't as nervous because we were all new to competeing. I used it to learn . Its also a great opportunity to speak to other techs in different catagories look at their nails and see the standard expected for next time !!! You will get the bug !! Enjoy
