I have a California license for doing nails. Can I transfer that to Spain?
If not, is it difficult to get one in Spain?
I am thinking of opening a nail salon there, does anyone know what I need to get an investor visa, or immigration attorney, or links that you would recommend?
Your help in much appreciated,
Tina

You don't need a license to do nails in Spain. Depending on which products you use you might have to show a certificate or two to get products at pro-price from the distributors.

No idea re the visa, your best bet would be to approach the American Consulate in Spain for more info on that.

hth's a bit

My husband and I are considering moving to Spain. I've been a licensed cosmetology instructor and Stylist for 20 years. Am I able to transfer my license to Spain or would I be required to get another license?

Liz - this thread is 15 years old, none of the contributors are here anymore, as far as I'm aware we don't have any Spanish techs here to help

Before you open a salon do look into taxes etc. My partner is Spanish and tax is a huge issue in Spain. There seem to be a lot of hidden costs.
