Holy Hollywood! I'm a sucker for anything that leans towards the golden age of Hollywood and the new colour range from Bio Sculpture looks Hollywood-hot. Made up of seven new shades, the collection is inspired by the glamour of 1950's Hollywood and is described as "chic, opulent and stylish".
The collection is Marilyn, Bette, Jackie, Brigitte, Elizabeth, Audrey and Grace, and what a collection to have. The colours are characterised by their namesake meaning that Marilyn is the quiet, influential leader of the group. She was slight more daring and experimental than the others. Soft, warm as well as being strong and edgy, Marilyn knew that be simply suggesting something others would follow. The truth was, they knew it too.
Bette, on the other hand, spends most of her days casually peering over her sunglasses to see what Marilyn is up to. The other girls know that Bette is by far the prettiest girl of the group. Bette combines sweet femininity and tough modernity beautifully and is the perfect example of feminine strength.
Jackie is the loudest of the girls. One always knows when Jackie has arrived. Jackie's laugh is contagious and she attracts people like a designer store in Hollywood.
Brigitte is a zesty, bright spark who loves the sunshine. Basking in the rays of the Californian sun, she is in her element. Nothing else around her matters at all.
Then there is Elizabeth. The men love Elizabeth. She is the most feminine of the girls who unintentionally received the most attention from the gentlemen of Hollywood. Elizabeth doesn't follow trends or fashion but she was always in style.
And who can forget about Audrey? My personal favourite. Soft and sweet is the best way to describe Audrey. Her opinion isn't always heard but she doesn't mind. Audrey has an edge that oozes style.
Finally, we come to Grace. Grace is the serene one who has an immense calming effect on the girls. Her head is always crisp and clear like the summer waters of California's beaches.
Can't wait to get your hands on this? Well, you'll have to. The collection will be available in Spring 2013.
Until then...geek on.
