Hiya

I have decided to work from home and turn one of my outbuildings into a salon, it is a few weeks away from being finished but i started advertising around a month ago hoping that by the time my salon was up and running i would have a few bookings. I had a phone call today from a mum and daughter wanting their nails done on thursday, i dont want to turn them away but my salon isn't finished yet. So i thought i could maybe do them in my kitchen as i have quite a large kitchen with only chairs at one end so their is plenty of room and just explain to them that i have nearly finished my salon.

What do you think? Any thought / idea will be greatly appriciated!

Thanks

Go for it - I'm sure they will understand, and they'll be looking forward to seeing the new salon once it's up and running too!

Good luck x

Sounds good to me. Just let them know at the time of booking x

Hi,

Yes definately take the booking and explain to them about salon room not being quite finished yet and I'm sure they'll be fine with that. Do you offer gift vouchers? As a little thankyou after you've done their nails you could surprise them both with a voucher for some money off if they'd like to come again when the salon opens? Doesn't have to be lots, just 10% off or something and I'm sure they'll go away and recommend you to their friends.

:o)
