Normal polish & CND Shellac?

Hey guys,

If I wanted to do Christmas nail art but don't want to buy a gold CND colour (as I don't have much of a clientele and gold isn't popular with Asian skin tones) can I use regular gold polish aswell as CND in dots to make a tree? I'd use my CND polishes for the rest of it. (Tried to upload a pic but file is too big) x

Yes, it will be fine, just remember that other polishes don't dry as quickly as Vinylux so be sure to leave enough time before you top coat. Nothing worse than dragging your dots all over your beautiful tree as they are not dry yet. (been there, done that! )
