No way! Hair and makeup etc have all been normal prices as the salons are open anyway..bands or djs charge extra because they could be booked elsewhere for extra given that music on NYE is essential..don't let them trick you lol

I've done hair and makeup for NYE weddings and charged normal bridal rates

Dj probably charge more. Saying that they charge more for weddings anyway lol.

I think it's fair enough for a dj to charge more on NYE, they're working at a time when they'd probably like to be socialising with their own family and seeing the new year in rather than working..! So it has to be worth it. But I doubt anyone doing hair and makeup will be working that late at night, therefore it's not an unsociable hour and your prices should be the same as any other working day.
