Hi emma, i rent a room in a hairdressers 2, i found the poster on the mirrors doesn't work either people have a look then go back to their magazines!
I've found talking to them while their having their colour applied and offering to do a pedi / mani while their colour is taking maybe with 10% off or something, clients are often bored waiting a long time for a colour to take so i find this really popular. also have some of your leaflets around in the waiting area, posters up offering your services and i have an a-board by the door with special offers on so clients can see it while they are walking in the salon. The main thing is talking to the customers so they no you are there and what treatments you offer.
