Olaplex and Wella Straighten It

I'm very new to olaplex, and was wondering if anyone has ever added it into the wella straighten it product or if it's better to use as a standalone treatment after?

Im not familiar with the product mentioned, is it a smoothing treatment? Most smoothing treatments create a coating over the top of the hair, so they recommend to do a stand alone before hand. I usually wait a few weeks as well after before I do any more treatments since Olaplex wont be able to penetrate the coating.
