Open day

hello geeks i'm having an open day on 29th june and have contacted calgel and united beauty ( as i use both of these ) ( attitude polishes) to ask if they can provide me with any marketing material leaflets etc for use on the day , i sent them both an e. mail well over a week ago and heard nothing in return .
i just wandered if any other nail geeks have been successfull with this sort of request or if you think i'm wasting my time :cry:

Hi about a year ago i asked united beauty for marketing material eg leaflets as the local radio asked if we could do a live show and include spray tan!!!
I phoned them and all they could give me was a email of what they wanted you to say to the press !!! or if i could get there marketing kit for i think then £45+vat !!!
I was not happy as i was about to spend a hour or so talking about this tanning product (ok and the salon) and selling it and saying how fab it is (which im happy to do so) but a little bit of marketing would of been a help !!i have been with this tanning product for a good few years as well and have spent a good few ££££'s with them! so good luck and i hope they have changed and will help you out !!!
