I'm having grand opening on 6/1/2009 too. This is what I'm thinking of doing. Hooking up with a local charity or donation organization, maybe food ? So each customer that bring in a food item, will exchange for a $5 gift certificate. That way, the food item is being donated back to the community. $5 is being used from the customers. Win Win for all!

I think having a charity or donation organization is a very good idea.
Also make up some goody bags and put in your leaflets, a 5.00 off voucher for their next treatment and perhaps a little gift such as a nail polish or sachet of something.
Or if you do tanning put in an exfoliating hand mitt so when they have tans they can use this prior to the treatment.
Have a nice colour theme of balloons and make it noticeable get posters and put them every where you can and tell everyone you possibly can.
