Hi

I'm looking for a bit of advice for a back massage I'm doing on a client that has a sore back due to endometriosis. I am going to give her a paraffin wax treatment on her lower back where the pain is but am not sure whether I should exfoliate her skin before I put the wax on.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

You wouldnt need too, unless you wanted to add it to the treatment.

Do you have an ifared light there great for body aches and pains as they heat the muscles from the inside. Also some hot towels or hot stones are excellent too.

Thanks for the advice!

I'll use hot towels.

Thank you

I sometimes use "Deep Heat" for localised back pain. It's really smelly but I make sure its OK with the client first and that they have no allergies to any of the ingredients. I apply a carrier oil first then a "blob" of DH, it gives a two fold benefit - immediate relief and lasting effect.

Karaxxx
