Perming short eyelashes

I have a lady with very short eyelashes who wants them permed. I have explained that I cant guarentee that it will work but she is happy to try it out.
Any tips on perming short eyelashes?
I have ordered some of those lash lift curlers from ellisons, anyone tried them?

You should be ok, just ensure you use the very smallest adhesive rods you can get hold of.

hi how did you get on with this? I had a lady today with shortish lashes, they refused to stick to the rods and I didnt charge her at the end as NOTHING happened, so frustrated! had done a fab one 2 hours before, so have my technique right, ( i think)! any advice anyone on why lashes keep popping off the rods and refuse to curl? thanku x

i didnt use rods i used those new rubbery things that lift the lashes from the roots.
It did make a little difference but not so much that she will come back I dont think

hi i use perming rods but i have been looking for the little rubbery things to see how they look, I had a look on ellisons website but couldn't find them.

I can't remember if it was on here, but I heard a tip to curl the lashes with normal eyelash curlers first if they look like they'll have trouble sticking to the rods. I found that did help.

I haven't used the rubber ones either but now I'm intrigued!
