Please help! Heat rash

Hi, Sorry to sound like a real idiot, but I have just started my NVQ Level II Beauty Therapy and we have an assignment on Contraindications. I've done most of it, but I think my brain has gone to sleep now and I can't seem to find anything reliable or relevant on the net. So here goes... Would heat rash prevent a treatment? Or would it just restrict one? I know this is vague, but we have to consider all treatments offered in a salon. If anyone can help I would be very grateful!

If someone has heat rash do you think it would be advisable to put something "hot" onto the skin?
