PPL/PRS

Hi everyone,

So as you all know we have to pay lots for a music licence. I have spoken with my other stylists and searched for loyalty free music but none suit the salon. Someone suggested to me cancelling the PPL/PRS licence and getting a small tv and pay for a tv licence then we don't have to fork out a fortune for back ground noise?? Does anyone know if this is true?

No it’s not. You would need PPL and PRS on top of a license. Any way that you play music, regardless of the medium - Spotify, iPhone, computer, radio, tv, CD - needs a music license xo
