Hi
Can anyone recommend a good pre wax oil for using with a creme wax (strip wax) please?
Many thanks, Lee-Anne x

Most carrier oils are ok. I use jasmine oil from Perron Rigot.

Perfect, thanks for the advice. x

Just checking-is witch hazel ok to use as and alternative to pre-wax oil/gel/lotion?-or will it not make the wax stick etc?...

I also use the Perron Rigot Jasmin oil or their Vegetal oil for clients with very dry skin.

You can pretty much use any oil you want. The ones that work the best are the very light ones, you are looking to get a very thin film on the skin. You're not applying enough oil for a massage, just to leave a thin film. Best way if you have some oil is just to try it out on the inside if your wrist. A few drops on your fingers, spread it over and can you apply / remove wax easily enough. If yes then your onto a winner. :)

Witch hazel is an astrigent and can dry the skin so i wouldn't use it for pre-waxing. It removes oils and is good for soothing the skin so it can be used post waxing.
