Purple hair

I have a customer who wants a grey/purple look. We have been doing very fine blonde highlights only about 20 foils, then putting wella 12/81 and 0/66 with pastel, it comes out lovely but the only problem is it comes out really quickly.
Any ideas on what I can do to keep it longer, should I go up to 6%?

Try using a product meant to tone rather than a highlift and no, going up to 6% will exacerbate the fading you are already seeing due to the misuse of the product.
