Question about gel nails

Hi all! A woman near me is doing brisa lite sculpting using black n white french tips.. I tought only clear can be used? How does this affect the service ? She says she nevrr has a problem? Im confused

As long as she's using the clear sculpting gel over the tips, it should be fine. You will run into curing problems when using an opaque gel over an opaque tip. The uv cannot penetrate then.
