Hi there,

I heard from one of my colleges at work that using pigments with iron oxides for permanent make-up is bad since they don´t stay true in color and that they change over time to pink or red shades.

I recently finished my course in pmu but all my pigments have synthetic iron oxides in them. Am i in trouble now or what? i learned to pick the colors according the cool or warm skin tones and they told us that if you use a to warm pigment on a warm skin tone that this will turn out red in the future. The pigments all come with a certificat that they fullfill all the requirements by the eu.

I have allready send them an e-mail to ask about this but i would like to hear opinions from independent beauticians.

Does anyone know if the pigments of nouveau contour contain synthetic iron oxides aswell? I found them almoste in all reputable pigments on the web.

I,m confused. Can someone shed a light on this????
