Hi all, I have just a quick question about LCN gels. When you're putting the white french gel on the free edge at what point do you do this? When I was using Brisa, you cut the gel out to put the white gel on but with LCN they say to put the white on right before you seal it. This seems like a silly question but it's bugging me to do them the right way!!! Thanks for the time!!! (kind of missing Brisa right now as well...)

Also posted this in the completely wrong place at first....it's just one of those days!!

Is there a right and wrong way ? I use Brisa and have applied both ways and know others who do too. HTH

Hi. I was taught by LCN to do it either before the high gloss sealant, or underneath the sculpture gel. I found it better and sharper if it was under the sculpture gel. The FM White is quite thick and left a ridge under the sealant which I did not like the look off. But that is just my personal opinion. I trained years ago, and I do know that they now train in the way that you say.

Try it.....

I know use NSI Balance Gels, and put the white under the sculpting layer. They also train both ways... so I think it is a personal preference.

I hope I have not confused you.

Oh thanks!! I think I'm going to try it both ways, just to get a feel of it and I know exactly what you mean with the white leaving a ledge, that's what I was afraid of. I'm going to call and see if I can get into a class for LCN they're free so why not?? For now I'll just have to try different things!! Thanks for the reply!!!

i put the white on the free edge after the first coat of one component and then follow up with another coat of one component and then sealant. It seems to work best.
