Renew license in illinois??

I am a new nail tech in Illinois. I was issued my license on March 21, 2008. My license says that it expires on October 31, 2008. I know that I have to do 10 hours of continuing education classes, but within 7 months??? I cannot believe that I have to have all of those classes by this October! Can someone help me out? Maybe I don't have to have all of my classes in the 1st time or something? Please let me know because I am so confused and stressed out! Thanks again!:lol:
