Hi all
I'm a freelance make-up artist and I've just become qualified in threading. My make-up business is just starting to pick up and I have a number of weddings booked over the next 6 months. However I find that brides are a bit of a one hit wonder, don't get my wrong I love doing wedding make-up but once the wedding is over you never see them again.
Anyway I'm trying to build a regular clientèle for threading and as I haven't live in this area for long I'm finding it difficult. I also need to get plenty of practice and be doing it regularly.
So I'm thinking of approaching my local salons (no body else in our area offers threading)and nail bars to see about renting a chair. Can anyone give any advice on this,
Is it a good idea?
Am I better trying a hair salon or a nail bar?
How do I approach salons?
Any other tips
Thanks
Brianan
