Hi,

Im new to this and its my 1st time iv posted on here so apologies if i do anything wrong or do not give enough details.

Just a little info about myself. Iv been a therapist on and off for 8 years (including college). I am currently working part time in an office and part time beauty.

Im looking into renting a room in a nice area local to where i live.
I am meeting the lady on monday but just wanted to make sure im prepared. I am confident with carrying out the treatments but not so much the business side.

So far all seems good. She wants £100 a week rent n this covers gas, electric and everything else apart from my insurance and products.
I was just wondering what is "everythin else", i guess its somethin i just need to ask her.
She will do all the advertising etc.
It was previously a hair salon and she is taking it over.

She has other people viewing and intrested in renting it as well, so what can i do to make sure i stand out?

I need to think about costs as well and what products to use, they will need to be good high end products.

I will also be looking into booking myself onto more courses to do the latest treatments.

I think iv waffled enough now. i look forward to hearing your replies.

its ok now i didnt even get a chance to look at it as she has given the room to someone else now. Il just carry on with the search.

Shame you didn't get to view it but im sure there is a salon out there for you.

A lot of salons don't even advertise, both of the beauty rooms I rented were only discovered when I called all my local salons that I knew had offered beauty at some point,

Good Luck
