I rent a room to do beauty treatments on a commission xx% only basis. I am soon to be offering hair extensions and I am just wondering how do I work out the comission for the treatment of the extensions? Do you think the salon owner will be expecting the xx% off the total amount I charged to the client (including the hair) or do you think it should be the total amount I charge to the client, less the cost of the hair? I am debating on whether to just stick to the beauty treatments that I offer in the salon and offer the hair extensions mobile. Although it will be much easier doing them in the salon. What does everyone else do?
