Are you selling 'home made' products or products purchased from a warehouse?

Although the hair and beauty industry isn't subject to national regulation, local authorities can set their own rules covering licensing, called bylaws.

You'll need to speak to your own local council as bylaws vary from one council to another so a therapist working nearby but technically in another district, could be required to operate under a different set of rules.

Also, be aware of your statutory obligations regarding faulty goods, refunds etc.

No it would only be things like cuticle oil and strengthening polishes etc that I buy from the wholesaler , okay if I contact the council I will see what they have to say X
