Room rental Swindon/surrounding area

I'm thinking of renting a room in the Swindon area (I'm currently in Wales) so can't go looking on the high street iyswim.

Any recommendations on where to look? I've been googling but have found very little

Have you tried the local Gyms? They usually let you rent on a month to month basis, no commitments, they open long hours so access will be good and if you can find a gym that is at a good standard I'm sure you'll have some customers straight away....

Good luck, oh and parking in gyms is a great bonus as they usually have lots!! The rent seems to be very reasonable in Swindon I'm planning to get a place there sometime next year.
