Hi guys
Really like some opinions and advice on this colour.
I have a client wanting a rose gold ombre. Her current hair colour is around a base 6 with previously pre lightened ends.

Any formulas in wella, osmo or affinage would be great!

I don't use those brands, but I would personally use a high lift golden blonde or a 9.3/10.3 (with 30 vol), with a half an inch of of 66.22 / 66.23 or similar. If you don't have intense shades, you could use a little of 8.6/8.62, possibly get away with 8.5 for the rose.

Thank you for your help..
So you wouldn't lighten it anymore?

When I previously asked for advice from the wholesaler they recommended to use 9.24 mixed with 7.76 - do you think this would work?

Tint very rarely works on that natural hair colour.
I'd say p/l +20 vile to lift it cleanly.
Have a look on here for rose gold formulas :)

Looking at the colour you want to get it to which is about an 8 towards the ends.. she's not far off that. I would think it only needs to lighten 1 level, in which the high lift should work. You could bleach it, but for only 1 or 2 levels of lift, it's not worth the double process. Yeh 9.24 and 7.76 would work with 20 vol. I would use high lift with the rose colour personally, but either would work well.

I'd be very wary of taking advice from counter staff in the wholesalers. There are a few staff in some stores who have some relevant experience but I've heard some shocking advice suggested over the years and if you really don't know what you're doing, try out sample formulas on test cuttings first.

Iv just recently bought stuff to try the rose gold and was told by a couple of my colleagues to get Wella illumina in 9/43 and schwartzkof blondme in strawberry. Haven't got around to trying it yet but Iv heard it works!xx
