I am in my 20's but have problems with my joints, so I get repetitive strain injuries really easily and quickly. In the summer I'm fine, but they get worse when it's winter (cold) and when I'm tired and run down. So as a result I notice it the most at this time of year and my right wrist is painful lately. :(

I know how to avoid wrist strain when massaging and doing facials etc, but when doing Shellac I'm struggling. Just wanted a bit of advice on hand position etc?

I have a decent nail desk now which helps because when I was using a desk from Ikea I was having to stretch more and that was obviously making it worse! How do you set up your nail desk for clients? I know you can get hand rests for clients but I prefer to use towels because I do a lot of Spa Manicures and I think there would be too much on the desk with a hand rest as well. Thanks :)
