does anyone know when and how often they do this want to buy some big purchases and would be handy not to have to pay the vat

Hiya, not sure if its the same in all stores but mine has one every month usually, if you have a trade card they should send you something in the post telling you when they are having a vat free day and some offers too. You could always call your branch and ask. hth xx
